Molood Ceccarelli

Molood Ceccarelli is referred to as the queen of remote work in the agile world. She is the first person who officially challenged the premise of collocation as a prerequisite to agility. She has been an advocate for remote work and geographically distributed teams for over a decade. Molood is the organizer of the first and so far biggest online summit on the topic of distributed agile: Remote Forever Summit which brings together about 20 speakers who are thought leaders of agile. People such as James Grenning (co-author of agile manifesto), Lyssa Adkins (president of Agile Coaching Institute), Jurgen Appelo (creator of Management 3.0) and a few others have spoken at this online summit that attracted over 3000 attendees from all around the world.

Molood believes remote work is no longer the future of work, but rather the reality of it right now. As an agile coach, she is on a mission to help people in organizations to experience freedom and happiness in their work.

Molood has worked as an agile coach for several agile companies that work with distributed teams. She has successfully coached the scaling of a few organizations across different countries. She considers agile coaching of remote teams as the intersection of all her interests. She has a background in software development, project leadership, event management and journalism. Her diverse background and interests and her energetic leadership style, give her an ability to create engaging trainings and workshops as well as safe environments in which each individual would thrive to contribute to the results of the organization. More specifically, she uses the perfect blend of agile coaching, creative leadership, and software craftsmanship to equip agile coaches with the knowledge and skills they need to help their companies embrace remote work while creating software in an agile environment.
